We are overjoyed to share an update on the search for our dear friend, Kam Fisher, who had been missing since Saturday, March 8th. After nearly two weeks of uncertainty and worry, Kam has been found safe, and we can all breathe a sigh of relief. We want to extend our heartfelt gratitude to the countless individuals who helped search for Kam, spread the word, and offered their support during this incredibly challenging time.
Kam, a resident of Cincinnati, Ohio, went missing on March 8th, sparking immediate concern from her family, friends, and the community. Her disappearance was particularly concerning because it was completely out of character. Kam is a well-known and outspoken individual who would never intentionally cut off contact with her loved ones. Those close to her knew something was terribly wrong when she failed to respond to calls, messages, and other attempts to reach her.
The last confirmed sighting of Kam was in downtown Cincinnati, and the distress of not hearing from her for days quickly turned into a search effort. Her friends and family were desperate for any information and took immediate action to locate her. Calls were made to the police, and a flyer with her details was widely shared in the hopes of reaching anyone who might have seen or heard from her.
In the days following her disappearance, Kam’s best friend and family members worked tirelessly to get the word out, setting up search teams and contacting local authorities. After nearly 10 days without any word from Kam, her family, along with Ohio’s Land Search and Rescue (Landsar) team and the Cincinnati Police Department (CPD), organized a more formal search effort. They advised that a standby search team be created, and several calls for volunteers were made. However, before any new flyers were shared or further actions were taken, officials requested that the search teams hold off until more information could be gathered.
The distressing search efforts culminated in a final push on March 18th when an official update revealed that Kam had been located and was safe.
